Aida 3 Requirements

The AIDA 1 course is the perfect introduction to apnea. No prior diving experience is required! In this 1-day introductory course, divided between pool and open water, you`ll learn everything you need to safely embark on your snorkeling journey. No prior diving experience is required! During this one-day course, you will learn the basics of apnea theory; the equipment to use and why, how to prepare for a dive, and above all, the risks and dangers and how to deal with them. In the pool and open water sessions, you`ll learn the basics of underwater breathing, duck diving, finning, buddying, and safety procedures. The AIDA 1 course has no performance requirements or exams. These requirements can be met within 1 year of taking the course. Within at least 10 full days, candidates will be trained to teach AIDA apnea courses. Face-to-face courses cover a variety of topics such as planning, marketing and course conduct, teaching skills and theory, legal requirements, and risk management. Water sessions are used to meet performance requirements and skill demonstrations. As part of their CI, candidates teach AIDA 2 and 3 trial courses under the supervision of their instructor trainer. One month before the IC, candidates receive study materials as well as a topic from their own research, which they present at the IC as one of the practical exams. Whatever your diving experience, the AIDA 1 Freediver course will open your mind to a whole new underwater experience. This course addresses the theory and concepts of apnea training in more detail that will allow you to understand the physiology and techniques behind deep apnea. It is designed to cover the skills and knowledge needed for a recreational freediver to dive safely with or without a police.

The objective of the course is to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to plan and independently participate in apnea activities with experienced apnea enthusiasts in the same way. This course is specially designed for confident swimmers who want to learn apnea and gain a solid theoretical knowledge base for apnea and learn the basic techniques of apnea. The course is aimed at people who are already familiar with swimming and/or snorkeling. The AIDA 2 course provides a proper foundation in theory, good technique and safety, so you will be able to work safely with another AIDA 2 freediver. To pass the AIDA 2 course, you need to comfortably perform a 2-minute static breath, swim 40 m dynamically and dive into open water up to 16 m, in addition to the theory test, also show the good buddy and rescue skills. FORMAT Since we try to reduce contact as much as possible, we will try to hold all online lectures before the course. There are three courses for children from 6 to 11 years old: Bronze Dolphin, Silver Dolphin or Gold Dolphin. Each of them lasts from 3 days of classes.

The 4-day AIDA Junior course is aimed at young people aged 12 to 15. Each of the courses for young people has a section for parents that informs them about the proper care of children in the water after the course. FEMR instructors must refresh their practical skills every two years with a FEMR instructor trainer. One of the objectives of this course is to prepare successful candidates for the role of “assistant instructor”. This new role includes leading an appropriate warm-up session for apnea with limited water and open water and mentoring students of all course levels during their closed water or open water sessions. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To complete AIDA 3, the student must demonstrate the following: To participate in an AIDA3 Advanced Freediver course, the cross-applicant will be tested for all AIDA2 skills. To participate in an AIDA4 Master Freediver course, the crossover candidate will be assessed on the basis of all AIDA3 skills. To participate in the AIDA Instructor Course, the cross-country candidate will be assessed for all AIDA4 competencies. You will learn how to perform a more advanced balancing technique and more on how to stay in shape for apnea. AIDA 4 is the highest level a recreational freediver can achieve. The AIDA 4 can be combined with the Competition Freediver course for those who want to explore the challenge of competitive freediving. You`ll also cover training concepts, planning a dive session, safety and rescue, apnea physics, balancing techniques, and freediving injury prevention.
