Direct Representation – LSNF lawyers give generously of their time by directly representing eligible clients. LSNF refers eligible clients to lawyers with expertise or experience in their particular type of legal problem. Participating lawyers specify the areas of law in which they accept recommendations, and this information is used when a candidate is related to a lawyer. Participate in an unlimited number of legal clinics sponsored or co-sponsored by LSNF. LSNF`s pro bono program has more than 1,000 active and inactive members. These supporters can both donate money and provide legal assistance. The service components that make up the pro bono program include direct referral assistance, legal clinic programs and other volunteer activities of NFL. Lawyers can also become members of the Partner in Service program. The Partner Program offers public or private attorneys and law firms the opportunity to contribute annually to support LSNF activities while complying with the Florida Bar Association Pro Bono Rule.
